The clothes we wear are the same as which the native people wore round 1900. On sunday the women wear a "knipmuts" which is made up from a bonnet with tulle and embroided flower design. Further they wear a black jacket with long sleeves, on the front decorated with lace and pleats and a black skirt with above that a black lace or a "lustere" apron. Under this skirt they wear 3 or 4 half-slips and black shoes.
As well as the sunday clothes people possed a daily clothes. No working clothes but clothes people wear when they leave the house for a visit. They wear a pleated bonnet, also called the "troelamuts". A cotton bonnet decorated with lace with on the front side a pleated strap.
Further they wear a blue-white flowered jacket which was worn with a lap above the skirt. Ofcourse under this was a black brush braid and above that a blue/white chequered skirt. People walk on white sanded wooden shoes.
When it is cold, people wear a shawl. A reed "spoor" basket was worn as a bag.
